Individuals can apply to be a member of a 2014 Philmont crew after January 1, 2013.  Patriots' Path units can apply by Friday, January 18, 2013 to participate in the lottery to allocate crew slots in the 2014 contingents.  The lottery will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at the Patriots' Path Council office in Florham Park at 7:00pm. Units, including from outside of Patriots' Path Council, submitting applications after January 18, 2013 will be placed on a Wait List.

Units can also apply for 2013 Sabattis Watchu Canoe Treks which, subject to limits and restrictions, offer special pricing and possibly bypassing the 2014 Philmont lottery.

While not part of the Watchu program, the High Adventure committee is promoting opportunities for Sea Base.
